Our history

Mariangela, Daniele and Gianluca have decided to keep alive the memory of Nonna Giulia who used to come up from Pozza di Fassa to the hut where she offered milk and cream she obtained by milking her cows to passersby.

Today, maintaining traditions and flavours, the Malga Aloch hut has been renovated, and excellent, wholesome dishes are prepared here using meat produced from the slaughtering and processing of cattle reared at the nearby Masc Aloch Farm.

Wonderful location, a pleasant walk from town center

The Malga is a 15 minute walk from Pozza, and a very pleasant restaurant for lunch. My canederli filled with sausage were excellent, really refined. The view is splendid. The terrace is covered so you can sit outside even when it rains. A highly recommended destination if you don’t want to leave town for a longer hike.
